From the crestfallen and uncertainty in the hearts of Dipolognons, Dipolog rose to be part of the top 50 richest cities in the entire country, Philippines. Dipolog was once included in the poorest city in the country. Few infrastructures, very low economic progress, and even the tourist spots were not something to be really proud of. 

 

However, as the world revolves and as time goes by, many things happen. May it be a downfall or arise from the ashes. Dipolog City definitely made a beautiful and magnificent ascent from the ashes. Many establishments were erect, known companies in the entire country started to enter, the economy flourished, and city tourism greatly improved. 

 

Many people from the neighboring city and municipalities visit Dipolog for the exquisite scenery and serene vibes it gives.

Dipolog City Sunset Boulevard has been one of the most visited places in Dipolog City. The aesthetic view of the sun setting to the horizon until it's invisible to the eye. The people having their leisure time and eating escapades in the place, and even the people that are using the public exercise spot in the boulevard are such a sight to see. Explore Dipolog is also part of the spots in the boulevard that are paid a visit. The bright lights at night are superb, and many people like to sit in front and just have fun near a beautiful sight.

Museo Dipolog is one of the newest spots in Dipolog. It is the same building as the new city hall of Dipolog and it has been a new favorite of the people. The white and clean interior and exterior were a fresh change. In front is a small fountain that produces a magical vibe from its light when lit at night. On the second floor of the building, the Mayors and the previous leaders of Dipolog City's portraits are piled were showing the people who helped and contributed to the improvement of the city.

Linabo Peak is a place to unwind, exercise, and appreciate the gift of nature. The 3003 steps peak is also a personal favorite of people who like climbing, walking, or exercising. The bullet sweat from climbing is a mix of tiredness and victory by accomplishing a great activity.

​

Many activities in Dipolog are commenced. One of these is the upcoming P'GSALABUK Run Challenge with cash prizes for the people who will join and win. The local government also loves to have the Dipolognons exhibit their skills. One way to show it is their short film competition and travel video competition where they give chances to Dipolognons to showcase their talents as they aspire to win, and also exhibit the beauty of Dipolog.

 

A new plan for the city was also announced, such as the new Mercado and the children's playground. The playground will be put on the boulevard to commemorate the 2021 children's month. There is no further update on these but many people hope to see these plans in the next two or three years.

 

The province that was once nothing, but now thriving to be better every single day. That is Dipolog. To be worthy of the people's love and admiration, the city further continues to grow and improve. The tourism of Dipolog City has definitely risen from the ashes as its beauty is now loud known and appreciated.
