The newly discovered world from reading brings out varied emotions from readers. As the pages unfold with the twist and turns of the plot leave trails of different emotions and thoughts. People who love reading tend to feel at home with stories and books. It is their comfort zone, their haven, and the fantasy they run to when things get hard. But that's not the case all the time. Sometimes, it is something that gives happiness or a way out of boredom. An entertainment. Nonetheless, the lessons and message books give us something to look forward to and to take note of. 

 

Writing online, especially on Wattpad is something everyone can do. It gives the user the freedom to write however they want to their heart's content and in many cases, these days, a collaboration between two or more authors comes about. Senior High School students Emmanuel Jaboneta or also known by his username IamManuelll and Jebelle Mirafuentes, username -WitchinRed created a new world from their imaginations. It is not an ideal world where peace is seen and felt. It is rather a world where savage and nightmares walk around, where it instills fear in the body and mind. 

 

A world made to show where love can go, and what people can do to survive. The story entitled Comeback by IamManuelll and -WitchinRed is a mystery-thriller story with romance and fantasy as its sub-genre. The plot was amazing, and as the story goes on, it brings more questions and causes the readers to want more. They want more of the characters' different points of view, of what will happen to their world, and what will be the ending of the story once the pages close.

As it was written by teenagers, the lines and writing style were not that extraordinary, but the potential they show overwhelms many readers. With their young selves and lack of experience, the universe they made with their two minds was applaudable. 

 

The two have taken the next step to their first-ever self publish as the pre-order of the book closed its period on the last day of February. The book Comeback is a story that shows sacrifices, love, survival, action, and even funny lines that lift the mood of the heaviness their problems give. 

 

Does it deserve the readers' attention and admiration? Yes. To show the consequences of the measures we do when a love blazes someone to the point of burning them. To show the thoughts of someone who drowns in fear and gasp for safety, was an intense feeling yet satisfying. The way the final lines give a clench to the readers' hearts yet gives a serene state of mind just makes it beautiful in its own way.

 

It might not be written with the most amazing and unique lines of all, but the lessons and fun pace of their dialogues are lovely. 

 

As a reader and a writer, it was fun reading it. It gave my heart a slight pang, made my eyes shed tears, and made me fall in love with the character's flaws and strength.

 

And as their last page flips, the message the book gives and leaves forever lives.
